MEET

JUDY

OWNER and CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN

I have lived in Lexington for more than half of my life.  I graduated from University of Kentucky with a BA in Education, but went on to work at Toyota for 10 years, where I met my husband, Anthony.  We have been married for 20+ years, and we have 4 amazing children.  After staying at home with my children for 10 years, I went on to become a licensed Cosmetologist at Summit Salon Academy.

The decision to open a Lice Clinics of America clinic here in Lexington comes from personal experience of dealing with lice in my family.  The first time one of my children got lice was quite the ordeal.  My first reaction was embarrassment, because of the stigma that lice carries.  Once we began treating at home and realizing that hours of combing and picking was just the beginning of a long ordeal, my emotions then went from embarrassment to frustration and mental exhaustion.

A few years later when I heard about Lice Clinics of America and the revolutionary process they use to kill lice and eggs in one single treatment, I was immediately intrigued.  I knew if I could help other families so they don’t have to go through what I did, I could really make a difference in my community.  I opened in 2015 and never looked back.  I am grateful everyday for the opportunity to help families and see them leave our clinic with the feeling of relief and gratitude.

Since my clinic has been opened, one of my other children got lice.  This time, no big deal.  We went straight to the clinic and she was lice-free an hour later.  Over and done, just like that.  Wow, what a different story from the first time around!

MEET

ANGEL

CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN

I have lived in Lexington almost half of my life, after moving here from Clarksville, TN, where I was grew up.  I am married to my high school sweetheart; we have 2 incredible children and 4 amazing grandchildren.  I love to stay busy.  In addition to babysitting, I am a Scentsy consultant, and I have my own business making and selling wreaths.  I started work at Lice Clinics of America in January of 2016, and somehow manage to juggle it all because I love what I do!

With a background in Early Childhood Education as well as Cosmetology at the Summit Salon Academy, I have seen firsthand the stress and frustration families face when dealing with head lice.  I get asked the question all the time “How (or why) do you do this job?”  My answer is always this – Seeing the relief on the faces of the clients I treat makes this one of the most rewarding jobs I’ve ever had!

MEET

TARA

CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN

Lexington has been my home for most of my life, until I recently moved to Georgetown.  I am married to my best friend, Zach; we have 3 beautiful little boys who keep us very busy.  I love spending my spare time at the baseball field watching my boys play!

I’ve been a part of this amazing team at Lice Clinics of America since November, 2016.  I knew what I would be doing when I started, but never understood the impact it would have on clients and their families until I actually starting doing treatments firsthand.  This has been such a rewarding experience for me.  Knowing that I play such a crucial role in relieving the stress and frustration that most families are feeling when they come to us, reminds me everyday how important my job is, and that is why I love what I do!

Relax and let us do it for you!
